Flick-It-On Storyboards

We have finalised our storyboards to complete our filming of the silent films.
The theme was 'A Journey' and each group has taken a slightly different interpretation of this.
We can't wait to finish the filming, editing our movies to be under two minutes.

ANZAC Remembrance

Monday 27 April 2015

What stunning Artworks we produced as we focused on the events surrounding ANZAC Day.

And the Winner is...

Thursday 12 March 2015

... Room 14 for their fantastic level of participation and enthusiasm. What a bunch of super stars!

Check out all the action

It was fantastic to see everyone using a range of the 'Keys for Learning', having a go, and trying their best. Everyone managed to wet, even Laurence, Wendy and Hayley despite them only standing on the sidelines.

When it came to the crunch, the Room 14 relay team with Eden, Kurt, Hogan and Daniel took out the 2015 title by only a finger tip from Room 15. What a nail biting end to a great day.

My Balloon....

Friday 13 March 2015

You have to be in to win, so when Road Hogs announced their competition to name and explain the hedgehog in the scene below, we had to give it a go.

One day Mr Frank was walking to Jenny's house. He knocked on the door. Knock! Knock! No one answered. He looked in the window. There was Jenny dancing with someone else. He pulled the balloon out of his hand and looked at it. He went back to his own house and went on top of the roof to let go of the love he had inside the balloon. Dakota-Rose

Golfey is not happy because his BFF died from a golf ball to the head at Road Hogs. Flyn

It was a nice rainy day on the 12th October when my friend Truffle had a heart attack. He fell to the ground screaming. It was so scary that he almost died. He let go of the balloon because he didn't want his friend to die. Daniel

I think that he is wishing for someone to care for him and to have fun with. I think he is letting go of the balloon because he wants a friend. Sophia

Hedgy Jr saw his favourite balloon. He went outside to play with it. As he picked a flower he accidentally let go of the balloon. Lochlan

One day a little hedgehog saw something on the moon. He flew up on a spaceship and saw another hedgehog. He flew back down and brought a balloon, then went over to a big rock and closed his eyes hoping that the other little hedgehog would get it. Eden

HECTOR'S WORLD

Wednesday 25 February

Judy launched us into the very complex world of cyber safety today, helping us to explore the sort of information we should share when we use the internet.

Hector the Dolphin, along with his friends explored how we should be careful with the personal information that we share online.

Which four pieces of personal information should you not share online?

1. Full name
2. Street address
3. Phone number
4. Email address

THE DIBDAB DANCE

Monday 24 February

We had an absolute blast dancing our paint brushes over the paper today with Heather. She taught us the painting technique of 'Dibs and Dabs' to get an effect on our paper. The results look fantastic!

BIG DREAMS

Wednesday 18 February 2015

We are BIG dreamers in Room 14, with lofty goals we want to achieve. Anything is possible and we have already made the first steps in the right direction.

SUN, SAND & SURF

Friday 13 February 2015

Wow! What a fantastic day at Rabbit Island, with the sun shining and squeals of delight in the air.

We were super careful not to get burnt as we built our impressive sand sculptures singing along to Mr Strawbridge's Group C ditty. It wasn't long till we were in the waves splashing around trying to get Mr Wemyss all wet, before we relaxed in the shade to eat our lunch. Games in the afternoon proved to be as popular as always, and it seemed like no time at all till we hopped back onto the bus and headed back to school. Hayley was silly thinking it was going to be quiet on the ride home. We were all still super charged from the day.

WELCOME TO ROOM 14

We are Bright, Brainy... and just a little bit Zany

Wow! This week has started off with a bang... and it doesn't look like it is going to slow down anytime soon.

What has been the best thing about starting school this week?
